I have a 914 transaxle on a replica car I own and I had the speedometer cable assembly break off the housing at the end of the transmission. It left a gaping hole which I have since had repaired. When I removed the housing to have the assembly welded back on a couple large bushings fell out. I also may have lost more as I was driving down the road. I don't have a manual. Could someone send me an exploded view of the rear of the transaxle where the speedometer cable is attached so I can see what parts and how they're arranged so I can reassemble the housing.

I don't know whether you have the side shift or the tail shifter but pelica parts has diagrams of both. Attached is a link that could help.

BTW, their bulletin board tech discussions are very, very good. I have a '74 914 and you can get a lot of info about anything you need. Pelican Parts also carries almost anything you need for your 914. I have the same call name on that bulletin board
