Eurovan 1997, AES 12V VR6
I occasionally found oil in the intake so I removed the PCV valve to take a look.
I found some good amount of oil in there and the large hose flows pretty freely with no vacuum applied.
Also, it appears that the vacuum port on the PCV valve is not "closed" onto some diaphragm, but rather also flows freely...

I didn't find a checking procedure on the Bentley, can you point me to one?

My expectation would be that the valve opens when vacuum is applied and remains closed otherwise...

Assuming that is the case, this seems to be a faulty valve.
Any good sources to buy a new one?
I think http://europarts-sd.com had the whole assembly for $99 a couple of months back, but it is now $210. I would hope I can find it for closer to $100 :-)
