Hi all ... I have been suffering with idle issues for some time now and have done so many corrective measures and none have made a difference ... changed all vacuum lines and hoses incl plenum, replaced throttle body gasket and cleaned thoroughly inside, tested as per bentley AAV, TPS and air flow sensor. Changed coolant sensor and wiring, upgraded alternator wiring, checked timing. But this is the crazy thing ... the idle normally goes up and down by about 400 rpm until I pinch the oil breather pipe - then it runs absolutely fine!, have changed the seal on the pcv and checked for cracks, replaced hose and no change to idle ... it is a 1.9 digijet dh 1985 ... HELP! and thanks in advance

I am having similar issue. I have ordered a oil breather. I believe mine is clogged and is not breathing.
I will post again as soon as the parts are replaced.
