I was changing a spark plug on 1994 vw jetta. A small piece of wood fell in the cylinder head. Do you think it will be ok or do i need to pull out the head? Thanks for your help.

Into the spark plug hole? How big?

Wood burns... start it up.

If you have a long screwdriver, dip the tip in grease and then go fishing through the spark plug hole.

You might have to turn the engine by hand to get the piston to sit low in the cylinder, so that you can look into the hole and spot the piece of wood.
