Thanks for looking.

Just got the vag-com for my recently aquired 1993 eurovan 5speed truck. The Vag says k1 short to ground. I am guessing that k1 should not be getting ground.

I found a couple posts regarding audi and 'disconnecting modules' to try and trace the problem... So what are modules?.. I have the horrible 3 volume bently guide which goes into a lot of detail about stuff I don't care about and misses out on the imporant stuff.

So what should I do. I tested the wires for the 2x2 connector. I get about 500 ohms resistance between ground and the k-line when I test at the plug. There are a couple connectors behind the fuse panel and when I disconnect the one with 2 wires, resistance jumps up to 1000 ohms.

Do I unplug the Fuel injection sensors? Pull fuses or pull relays?

My actron code reader also says it cannot communicate with the vehicle.

I did run the vag-com my jetta no problem.
