I have a '93 740iL. The driver's side rear wheel leans in at the top. I saw another thread where this problem was addressed and a bad bearing was mentioned as a probable cause. I noticed on my car that the wheel is sitting very high in the wheel well, and there is no "bounce" when I push down on the rear of the car. Could it be a bad strut, or possibly a problem with the hydraulics. It has the self-leveling suspension system, and I was thinking if there was no hydraulic pressure to the strut, it would bottom out and might contribute to the "lean". I was also wondering if it is possible to replace the hydraulic struts with standard struts, and simply plug the hydraulic lines. Will this cause problems with the sensors?
