Ok so. This is my car and after 6 weeks 3 mechanics and this forum I have a running car. Car doesn't run because of the mechanic but because of this forum. My roommate and I took the car back from a mechanic who first said bring it to me and I will charge you $80 to run some diagnostics,,,,hahaha what a joke. Ok so I bought a distributor and he put it in still no start, took 9 days, really 9 days. Oh by the way he starts it and the timing belts breaks (wasn't broken few teeth missing I know because I replaced the dang thing).

So brought it home instead of paying more money came here and fixied her myself with roommates help. Snow aside took us about 27 hours and a few weeks with the snow. But this forum got her back up and running. This is not a question for help but a koodoes for helping me fix her.

I am not used to not being able to make my car run but this vw...dang foxer is tough. Got all the parts off and got the timing right due to this forum and think you guys should get a big *** koodoes for it as your responses had me put things right and she runs.

My father, who is a master mechanic, only said your a better mechanic than this why isn't she running think about it and boy I tell ya I love my vw and i love you guys.

Just wanted you to know you rock and she works...
