Section 17-9 in the Porsche 996 manual (P905) is for removing/installing the oil pan. The torque on the oil pan bolts is shown in a table that seems to be a duplicate of the torque on the oil DRAIN PLUG (it even says "oil drain plug"), so this must be a typo. 50 Nm seems waaaaay too much and would strip the pan/bolts!! There is no mention of the actual torque on the oil pan bolts that I could find anywhere in the manual.

Sorry for not including the torque spec. Torque spec for oil pan bolts (M6) is 10 Nm (7.5 ft-lb). Oil drain plug torque is correct at 50 Nm (37 ft-lb).
