92 Euro Westy. Does anyone know if there is a relay common to the temp gauge and fuel gauge? They are both intermittent and stop working at the same time. Sometimes a simple thing like adjusting the heater temperature can bring them both back on-line.

Thanks

I looked at the wiring diagram - I didn't see any relay for either guage. You can try re-seating the connector(s) on the instrument cluster. Re-seat the applicable fuse. Otherwise, the problem may be internal to the cluster itself. There is a warning "module" within the cluster, but the fuel guage didn't seem to share that module with the temp and oil guages.

Per the VWVortex link, could be bad solder points within the cluster
