Hello all, I am wondering if anyone has information on how to change the oil separator valve - I can't seem to find anything in the bentley manual.

Thanks
Charlie

Hello,

Thanks for writing Bentley Publishers. There is an article on our Tech Library
M54 crankcase breather valve, replacing (E46) https://wiki.bentleypublishers.com/x/JoD3B

We have also integrated this info in our latest printing.

Let us know if you have any questions or issues.

Regards,

Bavarian Autosport had a nice pictorial series on how to replace the PCV valve without removing the intake manifold in their flier a couple of years ago. It is most likely posted on their website. I did it on my '04 325 . This job is doable, but it is a real PITA.
