325ci Oil Leak

Hi gang,

This is my first post! I have a 325ci 2001 with about 107K miles. It's been leaking oil for a while---not a lot, but consistent enough so there's a big smudge in the driveway. A mechanic friend said I need a new valve cover gasket. Is this a reasonable guess on his part? He's my ex-boyfriend so I don't want to call him to fix it!!

Hi Cashley
Its the most common problem if you have burned oilsmell and oilleak on a BMW engine.
