93 vw wagon blower motor resistor

where do i find the blower motor resistor for this car looked under pass side dash and the only box i found with a single screw and wires going into it was not the correct part

Find the blower motor, then follow the power wire from the motor to the resistor pack.

If that's where the wire is leading you, then yes.

The picture I have shows the resistor pack above the fan.

I can post it later today.
