1. The section on replacing the cylinder head gasket calls for anti-friction compound. Is this supposed to be spread along the entire head and gasket and could you elaborate or provide details on brands or products to use? What is the purpose of the compound?

2. The next segment calls for silicone sealant on the metal-to-metal seams, is RTV black suitable for this?
