93 vw passat glx brake problem

The brakes on my passat stick when I apply pressure, however they dont really hold the car back. The pedal sticks down too and I have to pull it up with my foot to get them to release. Any suggestions?

You don't happen to have that funky hydro boost setup on your GLIX do you? I just went to **** and back on repairing the brakes on my 93 GLX.

Let me know I have some ideas.

$50 from Germany and shipping/install in the states.
