trying to find where the obd connector would be located on a 1994 e320 mercedes, any help appreciated.

OBDII is the 16 pin trapezoid connector and communication standard that is now mandatory for cars built 1996 and later, your car doesn't have one.

Your car should have a 16 pin box with a lid on it by the battery, uses MB specific diagnostic tool, or other tool that is MB capable, not a "generic" OBD tool.
