My engine (3.2 l) under normal operating temperatures has a tendency to loose power to the point that downshifting is required and hardly keeping up about 30mph, seeking place to stop and let the engine cool down. This might repeats every 30 min. and is very annoying. There could be number of potential reasons: sensors, relays and electronic devices, but where to begin? Has anybody experienced similar problem and would like to share it? Thank you.

The first thing I would check is the cylinder head temperature sensor that is located in the number three cylinder head.
Follow the testing step in the Bentley manual.
