Somehow (probably an instant oil change place) the plastic grill piece that is immediately below the wiper arms now has a gaping hole in it and I would like to replace. I cannot find a description of this part, despite numerous attempts, using the Bentley CD-
ROM. This is the piece that butts up against the enitre bottom length of the front windshield on my 2005 A4 2.0T. Any help or instruction on how to replace this piece would be greatly appreciated. Reference attached photo. Also, anyone know how much this part costs?

Thanks in advance.

In Ebahn software (Audi A4,S4,RS4:2002-2008)
follow as shown:

Repair Manuals
Electric Equipment
92-Windshield Wiper/Washer Systems
Removal & Installation
Windshield Wiper System

There is clear picture and instructions for "panel grille" removal and installation

I realize I'm responding to a 7 year old post, but maybe it'll help somebody. Nice thing about the Audis is every part on the car has its 9 digit part number on it somewhere, sometimes with extensions, either stamped, molded or on a sticker on the part. Look for them, they're there. I go on ebay and search, in your case, the COWL, "Audi 8E1819403A 01C". I found this number on parts.audiusa.com by entering your vehicle model info. You can also buy from that website, but it's the difference between $70 plus shipping and $61 and free shipping on ebay at this particular time. Both new parts. Not much diff on this particular part at this time, but hundreds of $$s difference on many other parts. Another good place to find good parts for low prices is RockAuto.com. No I don't work for them, just LOVE the company. They've saved me a LOT of money. Also attached is a pic of the part number on your cowl.
