Is there a trick to removing this connector?
It seems like it's going to break when I pull on it.
The dealer told me this part was the cause of an evap code, p1476, but I wanted to do the electrical test on the part first.
Of course I'm going to have to break this connection to remove the ldp if it's bad.
Thanks!

Had similar issues myself..You can remove the pass side tire and the fender liner to gain access to the harness connector of the ldp.Should be able to do tests w/out full removal.

I can get to the connector, I just can't get it off the ldp.
It seems like there might be some sort of catch holding it on.
The ldp seems fairly fragile - I'm afraid if I pull too hard, I'll break something

At the front of the ldp is a double keyhole slot that it hangs on. If memory serves, you need to lift up then move it towards the back of the car. Hope this helps.

Push up on the connector first... towards the ldp. Then, pull back on the tab of the
connector while sliding the connector off.

Thanks!
Just what I needed to know
Now when I get home from work I have another reason to crawl under the car!
The next trick is finding one that won't break the bank - dealer wants $289 for one and that appears to be the only source unless I get a used one
