I have a 2001 Audi A4.

Recently when using the downward (momentary) feature of the wiper stalk, my wipers stay on after I release the wiper switch. After maybe 4-5 wipes, and a little jiggling of the switch I can get them to turn off.

The wipers work jut fine if switched in to the intermittent mode (upward).

I'm not sure of where to begin my diagnostics. Can anyone help?
