Hey guys,
I was wondering if i can substitute a maf sensor 078-133-471-C FOR A 078-133-471-E
I did some homework and the C is for 2.8L 30V engine 98 and 99, thus the E is also for the 2.8L 30V engine but 2000,2001.
Logically thinking the E should work as well right??
any feed back would be so appreciated.

The harness plugs are different... one is a 3 wire the other a 4 wire (if I looked it up right).

My initial post was based on seeing pictures of the MAFs & their connectors.
Further googling found posts of 4 to 3 wire MAF conversions (Audiworld.com)... supposedly the first 3 wires of the 4 wire is all you need. You still have to decide how you will match-up the MAF with the harness plug.
If you are willing to "modify", then give the 4 wire MAF a shot.
I'd stick with stock parts, even if it cost more.
