hi i purchased a 1986 944. the car sat a little over 10 yrs. i charged a battery and put it in. we got everything working. shortly after we purchased it we got it running. all i needed was fuel injectors. runs great. now all of the sudden the windows, blower motor, wipers, mirrors will not work.. we could not get the sun roof to open. now when it wants to it opens. is it a ground problem? a ignition switch? can you help? thank you..

I would start with ignition swx or X starting circuit relay

well i replaced the ignition switch($30.00) and thats not the problem.. im going to check relays, and if thats not it, i will remove dash and components to trace wiring.. there might be a union that ties all these together, and might be the problem.. after all it did sit for over 10 yrs.. tell me what you think.. thanks for the steering break down.. i found a service repair manual on the web i down loaded and printed out.. have it cd to. so if you know any one who needs one for free let me know will share the wealth..

then the next step sounds like the X relay or starting system relay
it shuts down the systems you are listing so full power is available to the starter

it will be in the fuse/relay box under the hood
