I am working on an A-4 cab with a 3.0. I'm getting a fault code P1999 camshaft adjuster,high friction. Alldata lists various causes i.e. oil temp sensor,oil pressure or scored camshaft bearings. has anyone delt with this problem. any info would be helpful before tearing into this thing.thanks in advance.
