Hi All,
A6 C5 Avant built '98 registered '99
Concert radio with BOSE
On removal of the BOSE amplifier (to gain access to the rear bumper cover fastenings),
the 2 wiring terminals connecting the BOSE bassbox to the amp (behind right rear trim in boot) accidentlly came out of their white 4 pin connector, which was left behind (connected to the underside of BOSE amplifier, the opposite end of the brown multi pin connector which sits on the top).
Does anyone know which of the connector's 4 terminal holes the 2 wires should be in?
The 2 wires are:
grey and
grey with red stripe
The BOSE bassbox has audi part number 4B9 035 382 A
The BOSE amp has both numbers 185678-001 & 185679-001 on its stickers
Looking at the witness marks inside the white connector it appears that the 2 connector holes adjacent to the latch are the ones that were in use. But which wire goes in which hole?
Hope someone out there has the same model and can have a look. The Bentley manual wiring diagrams do not go into this level of detail for this connector.
TIA.
