I have 2 issues, my car is a 86 911 it has an autothority mass flow on it, at start up the idle will surge radicallyfrom 600 to 1100 rpm, once it straightens itself out, maybe 2 blocks of driving on occassion it will emit a blue fuel rich smoke for a few seconds, car runs great at speed and is extremly responsive, (I have had 22 911s and this 86 accelerates like the 91 and newer I have had), I have checked for vacum leaks, unplugging o2 sensor, no luck. problem 2 on clutch release there is this anoying shudder just as the clutch releases, is can be eratic, worse when car is warm, but persistant, clutch feels fine other than that thanks

the cylinder head temp sensor has gone south, needs replacing for the rich symptom

I would change that first before condemning the air mass or idle valve
