Hi, could anyone tell me what the recommended procedure is to replace the valley pan gasket on my 95 Cabriolet?

Thank you.

Got to 12v.org for a good description. Removing the intake is a pain and when you have it off you might as well clean the throttle body. You will also need to create a tool to remove a wire by cutting a slot in a deep socket (I can't remember the size). New intake gaskets a must also. If you are doing this because of oil in the valley pan area, chances are really good that you actually have leaky head gaskets and not a valley pan problem. Guess why I know that. Be careful with the fuel lines as you can create leaks at the point where the solid tubing mates with the flexible braided hoses.
