I put the car on ramps, took out the bumper, bottom engine shield, and everything in front of the radiator. I am having difficulty accessing the lower hoses and transmission cooler line, from the bottom, side, or top.
Is there a trick to this, or is there anything else I need to take out to do this? Thanks.

Did you move/slide the lock carrier forward into the service position?

See attached image... taken from Bentley CD.

Ah, that's it!!! Thanks. I do have the CD, but I didn't look in the right place (only the cooling system section).
Thanks again.
