cam cap arrows

got a 98 MK3 everything VR6 tore it down last year and don't remember what way the arrows go I think they go towards timing chain and #'s read from exausht side Am I correct? Thanks for the help

From the Bentley CD:

When installing camshaft bearing caps, make sure that the
identification mark is readable from the exhaust side of
cylinder head and that the (arrow) on each cap points toward
the vibration damper end.

I downloaded the first link and putter can't read it, is there something special I need to read it?

The first link is a program ( .exe ) file... the second link is the one time
payment/transaction that unlocks the program (two serial numbers are
supplied so that the program/service manual can be activated).

You can run/install the program without paying via the second link, but
you will not be able to see/view/read any of the actual content.
