problems after getting new brakes...

I had new rotors and pads at all 4 corners replaced. After that I got "red" brake light on solid, "yellow" ABS word blinking, and the glorious 3 chimes. VAG shows no communication and gobs of low voltage codes. Battery 2 years old and no batt problems currently.

1. Where is the ABS fuse? I found a bank of 4 relays and 3 larger fuses/circuit breaker type-enclosed under dash on drivers far left side. Is it the last fuse on the right at bottom?

2. My hand held $60 scanner codes P0501 speed sensor code but no one seems to think its that and its a ABS control module.

I've disconnected battery and reconnected with same issues. I've now purchased the 30 amp circuit breaker type fuses for under dash to try. Could it be as simple as a fuse?

Please advise

Maybe there is a fuse issue. More likely it is a bad ABS module since a failure with no communication is very common. I'm just waiting for the day the warning comes on in my car, I've fixed enough to know it will happen.

solution was found last night. the ABS control unit was unplugged. Why it was unplugged I'm not sure and notified the shop who did the work. It takes 3 movements to disconnect that so it can't just come off.

Had it VAG'd this morning and all is great and normal. I posted on quattroworld this: wonder if the dealer would have still sold me a new module costing i'm sure 2K?

Crazy how a Autozone hand held showed a P0501 wheel speed sensor, VAG showed no communication, no speedo which makes logical sense it would be a wheel speed sensor ($79 at ECS Tuning each), and nobody knew it was unplugged including myself. After researching on this site how you can solder the connection back saving money and understanding why and where it connects made me take my finger and touch it seeing it was completely unplugged. WOW, how often does this happen and people don't question and write checks????
