does anyone know how to override the ews i am trying to swap computers but i lost the key and it wont turn the ignition i figure if i could override it then i wouldnt have to worry about it is this possible

No easy way to do that. The engine control module is married to the car, can't swap another DME module from another car. Only new dme's can be coded to the car.

Order a new key from the dealer. Can get a key using your vin.

yes you can switch computers you just have to switch the transponder in the key so that it matches the dme both cars are same year same model but with the original key that comes with the car just switch the insides but their has to be a way to override ews

What about the EWS control module rolling code? Key talks to EWS not DME. Maybe if you swicth all EWS stuff too. DME gets start signal from EWS.

yes exactly the ews box is located close to were your steering column is i switched these and wondered how come when i did this everything came on but when i turned the key no start but i need a way to over ride the ews system that will enable it to start

I don't think you can override the theft system. You might be able to swap a computer out with a used one and get the car started, but you'll need a GT1 or equivalent to do it.
