My instrument LCD recently indicated I had a brake light out, which was true, so I replaced the center bulb which was bad. Now, the LCD stays on all the time indicating I still have a brake light out, but all 3 are working properly. Why do I continue to get the "ONE BRAKE LIGHT" message?

chances are good the replacement bulb resistance varies from the OEM bulb. Did you use a silver base bulb? If the light doesn't go out, try a bulb from the dealer. Sounds dumb, but usually the case. Other option is to live with the check control message.

I replaced the bulbs and it corrected the problem, as you recommended. Thanks, Charlie.
