Hey guys,
I'm relatively new to this forum as i just purchased a '94 e36 318is.
i got it heaps cheap and it is in pretty mint condition. However, i had a few problems with it, including poor ignition, rough running, oil leaks, loss of power, excessive oil consumption. Some nice mechanics pointed out my PCV valve needed to be replaced and after some research that seems right as all my symptoms have pointed to that. If i fix that then, with a little extra TLC it'll be perfect.
I would like to replace it myself as i want to "fix" my own car and as a student i have quite limited funds. I would have assistance from my cousin who has mechanical experience however never with a BMW. If someone has replaced a PCV valve personally or by a mechanic, please give me more information on how to do it. Pictures and diagrams would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys =]
