Brake Pad Warning Light

Replaced front brakes with new front aftermarket pads and had this cleared, but it keeps coming back on. I made sure both connectors were very clean.

Is the car not recognizing them since they are a/m???

What would a/m stand for, please?

If the rear brake pads have wear sensors, check the rear pads.

Replace or check the front wear sensors. It is most likely not a bad/open electrical connection, but quite the opposite, a connection to ground.
