Hi,
I have a 1997 Cabriolet. I have the Bentley manual and have spend a LONG time trying to find the loaction on the vehicle for the AC Low Pressure Switch, F73, so that I can attach the adapter in it's place to use it a a refrigerant charge port. Does anyone out there know?

I'd just charge it on the high side. Low pressure switch is located inside the car. My info says pull the lower panel on the passenger side dash, then the engine computer.

Had my 1995 Cab serviced for A/C because I couldn't find a low pressure valve either. Only cost $80. Tech said that you can only charge this system on the high pressure side, and that it has to be evacuated first in order to measure the correct amount of refrigerant. There is no way to put a low and high pressure gauge on it as you would on a typical system. Hadn't heard about F73 being in the interior.

on these cars the low pressure switch is inside the cab almost impossible to get to until you remove a portion of dash and ecm if you want to charge a/c it's best to charge it through high pressure adaptor on the condensor engine off and weigh fluid liquid charge
