Engine Wiring Harness for 1988 230E Mercedes

I had an under bonnet fire which burnt all the engine wiring harness. The Mercedes Dealers in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia checked all states and could not locate a new one and I have tried to get a second hand one from all the European Auto Wreckers throughout Australia with no luck.

I would like to ask if any reader can locate one for me and give me the cost of purchase of same please

The details of the engine harness I require is as follows:

someone emailed you about a Mercedes Benz 230e class on engine wiring harness. For a fire that happened. My neighbor had the same problem except for the 260e series. She live in the US and in Weedsport Ny do you know someone that could help her with finding the part for the engine wire harness?

Thank you for your reply re the wiring harness for motor compartment for my 1988 230E Mercedes where you indicated that you could hook me up with your mate in Germany.

I would be very interested in talking to your mate if you are able to hook me up with him as I still have not been able to get on to one.
