The dashboard bulb-out indicator recently started lighting on my '06 Jetta. Trouble is, all of the lights on the exterior of the car seem to be working. I've checked the headlights, taillights, stop lights, turn signal lights (including the mirrors), license plate bulbs, side marker lights, and even the backup lights. I can not find a single bulb that's out. What am I missing??????

You definitely missing one bulb, or you have aftermarket one installed in it. Check it again, you'll find it easy.

Hi,

Did you chk the read seat cabin light, or, any of the lights on the doors when you open them ?

This same thing has happened to my 2006 Jetta TDI just the other day. I cannot find any bulb that has blown, I have even gone as far as to take each one out and inspect it. All exterior and interior lights are working. I am not sure what I am missing.

I had the same problem.Check the small bulb next to the headlight just above the headlight. this small bulb is known to go out and people miss it all the time.I know i did.

nabicat ~ What did you have to do, to get to that bulb? Is it a simple DIY, or a 'take it to a pro' type job?
I have the same problem, at less than 40K miles....
