Vacuum Control Switch

I could use some help in locating, testing, and changing the vacuum control switch on my 2000 Z3. Check engine light is on and code reads secondary air bank 2. Air pump works fine, tested vacuum control valve, but will not open. So, I figure that the switch is the problem, but how do I get to it?
