I have a 98 Boxter and the convertible top got broken, after looking at the issue and listening to the parts I realized that the transmissions where malfunctioning. I took them to a Porsche mechanic and he told me that they needed to be synchronized which was going to cost me more than $600.00 to fix them both. I bought the manual for this reason but the sad part is that none of this is on the manual. Now I'm wondering if any of you have had encountered this problem and how did you fix it?..
