engine mananagement light comes on and gives indication of random mis firing on cylinders 1,2 and 3. changed spark plugs and ignition coils on all cylinders but fault still occurs. fuel consumption is good any ideas?

I have to check the air flow sensor for that side of the engine. If the engine is running to lean you still get good fuel mileage. The lean mixture can trigger cylinder misfiring. BW
