yes! I have had the same problem on my 2008 Q 7 ! my wipper motor failed and the dealer changed it under warrenty with a slight complication! BEWARE!!! the spring for the wipper arm is very very strong spring load and togetter with the arm leading attachment point being sharp at point<<<it can slam down before the wipper blade is replaced or attached ! The arm slamming of down of arm will chip the windshield and lead to the start of a running wind shield crack!! this occured on my vehicle a few days after my service repair but the dealer shrugged it off as a stone chip! NOTE the crack grew from below the front hood rear point were a rock could not of hit! But the chip alinned perficIy with the wipper arm reach!! I found out about this wipper arm problem just last summer when bye my my own fault let the arm swing down accidently on the wind shield and it made a chip at the glass below the hood ! the chip quickly grew the following week!! As for the door clip I have had it break twice on different doors , this is a pain in the Butt. it usually happens in a cold frosty winter day!
I would think this problem should be a safty call back issue! would not want it to happen in an emergency evacution of an injured passenger!!
my concern with my Q 7 is a re-occuring squeek on the front end! I live on a lake house property with 5 kilometers of dusty gravel road , this is why I purchased a suv sport model. the dealer wanted to do a $3,000. part change ! But after going to a local lube pit were they sprayed lubricant in the front moving parts area and injected grease with a grease syringe and gave all the front end seals a shot! voila! squeek went away! it does re-appear occationally and I respray ! Any one having a humming resembling a tire howel shounds like a wheel bearing ready to go! my wifes A 7 had her front wheel bearing changed on her one year old audi ! hope this is not the same for the Q 7!!
