Hey everyone im a new owner and have had teh car for a few months now.
I have a few issues.

1) coolant temp gauge does not work. never has and probably never will

2)gas gauge intermitnt and works alot more often on warmer days

3)the biggie: car has a lil idle flux now and then and i know i gotta check the ISV.
But when it is colder out (usually below freezing) my car acts weird. even if fulyl warm car lose's power at 4000-4500 adn then pretty much grinds all acceleration to a hault, at the lower rpm's i either get bucking or no power untill i fully press gas pedal to floor.
on warmer days i get a good pull all teh way untill 6000 rpm then i lose alot of power again...
More recently my oil pressure gauge wont go up to or slightly past 5 bar. even at higher rpms.
If these symtoms start to act up badly enough i can induce backfires on demand no problem. This is very concerning as im a teenager and can only afford gas and small repairs under 200 bucks ever month or so.

My car has the 7A motor and i recently removed teh airbox in favor of a cone filter. ( for ease of cleaning and sound.) these symtoms were present before teh airbox removal adn on teh day i replace it was nice out so teh car ran strong.. well for what iv had to compare it running to.

scince ive only owned teh car while tis been colder out 5*c to -40*c i dont know how much a part of the temp outside is a factor as i get weird symptoms all the time.

ever scince ive had teh car i do get a slight whisling sound at 2000 rpm plus.Ive also seen a hose collapsed on the right hand side of motor if looking stright into bay. its below the intake manifold where it connects to block and is on top of motor mount? or large beam i think? The car runs so its safe to say that isnt killing to hopefully =( Also. My fuel economy is requiring me to fill her up every week with daily town driving. and my ODO is broken and i can never get a accurate km/s till empty or average speed. i only get time driven and current L/100 km accuratly i think.

Im willing to try and safe methods of repairing and cleanign that doesnt require new parts as i cant track tehm down here and i NEED the car on a daily basis.
