You can replace the headlight bulbs from under the hood of your vehicle. It will take a bit of arm twisting tho'.
-Remove plastic cover from radiator support.
-If faulty bulb is on driver's side: remove the fuse box cover to gain access to the rear of the headlight assembly.
-If faulty bulb is on passenger side: remove small air duct at rear of headligth assembly.
-Remove electrical connection at bulb.
-Rotate the rubber boot counter clock-wise about a 1/16th turn until it stops, (note position of boot before removal). The boot seals the bulb into the headlight assembly. Because of this the boot may be tightly adhered to bulb. Once rubber boot is unlatched from headlight assembly peel the boot back and off of the bulb without damaging it.
-Push down on and push out on the retainer spring, (tough to see but can feel your way to it) to access the bulb.
-Remove old bulb
-Replace the new bulb while being careful not to touch the glass.
-Snap retainer spring back into place.
-Align the boot, slide the hole over the bulb by pressing on each of the four rectangles imprinted on the boot.
-Rotate the boot back on clockwise back into place.
-Reconnect the electrical connection.
