EOS manual compatibility?!

I'd love to get the Bentley's manual for the EOS, but have two reservations:

1) I'm one of the ten percent of the population that uses a Mac. It has the latest OS, including the part that has dumbed it down to Gates-speak. If the CD won't work on our MacBook, when might a compatible version become available?

2) If the CD might work anyway (a similarly "incompatible" manual for our G35 ended up working just fine), will it allow updates to the '09 model?

I'm a home Mac user myself; it's on the developer's wishlist, but there's no schedule right now. Purchasing the software entitles you to one year of online software and content updates, so this would include the 2009 MY.
