91 C2 DME Fuel injection fault code or alarm reset

Removed battery to clean terminals & recharge now when I start the car it goes through a sequence of blinks that lasts about 2 minutes, then goes away & the car runs fine. Is anyone aware of a reset for this issue? Thanks

what light or lights are blinking?
is there a pattern to the blinks?

the parking lights blink in a pattern. there are three groups of blinks between 14-30 each. The fun is over after about 2 minutes

sounds like an aftermarket alarm is installed in the car
