I absolutely love my 93 Golf III, but the front seat is killing my back (SERIOUSLY)...I drive 500 miles from Monday to Friday. Does anyone know of an affordable kit to rebuild the seat? Someone seriously damaged the seat before I bought it. The bottom side wings are broken and something doesn't seem right with the back, either. No amount or configuration of pillows work, either. HELP!

The 'affordable kit to rebuild the seat' is going to be at your local junk yard. Should be $20-40, more if the yard has to pull the seat.

I have a bad back, am 6'3" and can drive my wife's GolfIII for hundreds of miles without pain... though I much prefer my Taurus 6-way because of the extra adjustments and thigh support.

Absolutely the best seat I've ever used was on our '90 Camry, the optional, manually adjustable seat that Camry designed in conjunction with a couple of orthopedic surgeons. I doubt that there's a way to get one of these into the Golf, however, since the seat track is plain flat-out strange on the Golf.

I rebuilt my wife's seat.

I had to replace the seat bottom cushion.

I posted it on here several years ago.

Try the search....

if you spend that much time in your car, spend some money on a good seat. I put a set of Corbeaus in my 92 and what a difference. the mounting brackets fit and the seat feels sooooo good!

I totally adore my 93 Golf III, however, the front seat is killing my back (SERIOUSLY)...I drive 500 miles from Monday to Friday. Does anybody know about a moderate pack to revamp the seat? Somebody genuinely harmed the seat before I got it. The base side wings Write my Essay Now are broken and something doesn't appear to be appropriate with the back, either. No sum or setup of cushions works, either. HELP!I have a terrible back, am 6'3" and can drive my significant other's GolfIII for many miles without torment... in spite of the fact that I very much want my Taurus 6-route on account of the additional changes and thigh bolster.
