I have removed and replaced the distributor in my Audi, now I have to set the strobe timing, but do not know the settings, can someone please inform the timing values against engine speed.

as i have the same car here in israel i know audi has a vag tool that connect to the fault reader and together with a probe inside the gear housing gives the best result. system also should be in "basic settings"
(done this last week).
it also works on 2500 rpm and the screen should read between 5-8 degrees.
