Co-worker has had the window "fixed" a few times by the dealer. It lowers by itself (car off). It will not go down then fiddling it goes down all the way and not to come up (car on). It does not seal correctly to the molding.. What makes up the system ? Position sensors ? Voltage sensing pressure ?

Window is missaligned, too high.

Passenger door window lowers a bit auomatically when unlocking twice with the remote. If door lock is left open, after a time intrval the window will attept to return to it's closed state. As it does this, pinch protection kicks in, and lowers the window. That's why he finds his window lowered itself after leaving the car.

Re-align the window so the window guides line up, and re-train the pinch protection

A good source for Eos info is the here http://forums.vwvortex.com/zeroforum?id=786

Check the "Table of Contents" entry at the top of the messages.

The window problem you described is quite common. One thread is here http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=2838958
