Hello All:

I have recently purchased an upgrade to the 'eBahn 3' service manual for the Phaeton. I am very happy with this upgrade, but note that there is one minor error in the manual where content is missing. I think this is a document assembly error, not an editorial omission.

The problem is in the 'headlight, adjusting' section, which can be found via this path: 94 Lights, lamps, switches - exterior / Headlight with one gas-discharge lamp / Headlight, adjusting. All that appears on that page is the number '16' - there is no content.

The same problem exists with the adjustment instructions for 'Fog Lights', which is the next component down on the list.

Good Morning, Michael,

I checked our subscription service manual and found it to be just as you describe. In looking at VESIS, the number 16 is actually a link to the Maintenance section which has the data you are looking for. So follow this path:
Maintenance>Maintenance>01-Maintenance>Description of work>Headlights, adjusting.

I'll pass this information on to the folks who handle this sort of thing. Thanks for taking the time to write and point this out.
