BLS/BTS Plausibility error

I'm getting a "BLS/BTS Plausibility" error from my 2001 3.0L Z3.
I believe the error is referring to the brake light switch and brake test switch. Unfortunately, I haven't be able to determine what the error means of how to fix it.
Has anyone else run into this error or know what might be at the root of the problem?

Did you ever figure this out? I am getting the same error on a 2001 330ci

Can you please tell me how to do this or email a scan of the Bentley page showing this. Is the brake light switch in the pedal assembly or located above the brake pedal on the arm somewhere?

Just got a Peake reader and am getting this as well. RealOEM doesn't really resolve the issue... can't fdind the part, the BLS/BTS Switch (which I believe also runs Cruise Control). Does anybody know the exact name of the part that code 78, BLS/BTS Plausibility, points to on a 2002 525iaT (e39)?
