My problem started after i stored the car for a year.
when i restarted it limp mode is all i got. shes stuck in 3rd. it is a tiptronic and none of those gears will activate now.
if anyone knows whats the problem i'll appreciate it.
I THINK YOUR PROBLEM LIES WITH THE GEARBOX OIL FILTER,OIL BECOMES THICK IF UNUSED AND CAR STAYS IN GEAR,DOES YOUR TIP WORK ?,CHECK SWITCHES UNDER CONSOL FOR CONTACT ALSO CHECK FOR MOISTURE IN ECU UNDER PASSENGER SEAT, THESE ARE ALL THE MOST COMMON FAULTS
anyone any ideas - tiptronic warning message comes on - "emergency run" then off intermittently boxster s 2002 .have had the oil level topped up but still same problem
