Has anyone had any experiences with the leak detection pump on a 99 passat? I have gone through all the tests in the bently manual, ohmed out the pump , checked for voltage at wire #3 etc, but the pump doesn't seem to ever run. When I went to get it through emmissions, it came out with a code 1476.I did find a severed vacuum hose going to the LDP, and I repaired it, but still have an mil. Any ideas?

I have same problem vw mk4 jetta 2.0 leak detection pump curcuit open po1475,if you connect the connector to the ldp and check for voltage I get 11.5 volts in all three wires if you disconnect then terminal 3 only has voltage ??? so I thought there was a short in ldp and replaced it same problem.can you bypass pump or can you hot wire pump to see if the new one operates?
